One&Only Reethi Rah sits on one of the largest islands in North Malé Atoll, roughly 45 minutes by boat from Malé. The island is ringed by 12 beaches and mixes beach villas, overwater villas and multi-villa residences, many with private pools.
Dining runs from Japanese at Tapasake and garden-to-table Botanica to Middle Eastern Fanditha and a Missoni-dressed beach club. The One&Only Spa carries a Forbes Five-Star spa rating, families have KidsOnly and the One Tribe teen programme, and the resort holds EarthCheck Platinum certification.
Guests on scheduled international flights are met at Velana International Airport and taken by shared luxury boat, for a fee. Private jet arrivals must book a private boat or yacht. Private seaplane transfers can be arranged; shared seaplanes are not offered. The resort describes itself as about 45 minutes by boat from Malé.
